BREAKING: Shotgun Sports’ Mascot Challenge Undermined by D-III School

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past 48 hours, you are aware that “The Streak” came to an end Sunday. Joe Wirth’s impressive run of naming college mascots finally hit a bump in the road as he was unable to name Centenary College’s mascot, The Gentlemen.

Some said it was like beating your dad in basketball for the first time, others equated it with finding out that Santa Clause did not exist. It was a harrowing ordeal for all.

However, after a thorough probe of the facts by The Otter Room investigative team, it has been revealed that Centenary College is in fact a Division III school.

It wasn’t enough to just use¬†Reality Steve, Taylor “Pete Carroll” Seale just had to continue living up to his nickname and keep pushing the envelope.

By now, he is probably signing a lucrative contract with a podcast in Seattle that will get him out of dodge just in the nick of time.

How far up does the conspiracy, collusion and corruption go?

Can Joe Wirth redeem his good name after this fake news calamity?

The fact is, nefarious tactics were employed to undermine the mascot challenge and stump Joe. Sad! #notmymascotchallenge
